Elizabeth died November 23, 1887⁹ in Russell County, Virginia, Son-in-law James Farmer was informant on Elizabeth death certificate⁹.

In Trying to determine which William & Elizabeth were the parents of Randolph Fields compared Census records from different years:
1st - Randolph is living next to Elisabeth A. Fields in the 1850 & 1860 Russell Co. Va census
2nd - Ann Buckley,age 74, living with Elizabeth A. Fields, also on the 1887 Russell Co Death index Elizabeth's parents were listed as Andrew & Anna Buckley.
3rd - William was not on the 1850 census Elisabeth was head of household, their youngest child was 6 months old in the census, therefore I ASSUME the William on the 1850 Russell Co. Va. mortality schedule was Elisabeth's husband.
4th - William H & Elizabeth are too young to be Randolph's parents.
William B. married to Sena in comparing the 1840 and 1850 census their oldest child was female and they only had one son, Joseph.
Conclusion: William & Elizabeth A.Buckley Fields has the only family that matches the William Fields in the 1830 Pike Co KY and 1840 Russell Co.VA Census
Therefore Randolph's parents were William B.Fields & Elizabeth A.Buckley Fields
